The State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO) is the national association of chief executives of statewide governing boards and coordinating boards of postsecondary education. SHEEO works to assist its members and the states in developing and sustaining excellent systems of higher education.
The SHEEO Higher Education Policy Conference is held every year in August. The program is planned by the senior fiscal, academic, and governmental relations staff of the state higher education coordinating and governing boards. While they are the core attendees, the conference also attracts CEOs and a wide range of higher education policy analysts and experts. The conference emphasizes peer learning and discussion in a traditional conference format with both plenary and concurrent sessions. |
