Breakfast Meeting: The Best Thing Since Water-Cement Ratio

"The Best Thing Since Water-Cement Ratio" will be presented by Jeff Speck, FACI (Trinity Lightweight).  Internal curing may be the best thing to happen to concrete since we discovered the importance of the water-cement ratio.  Internal curing using lightweight aggregate has been around for more than 20 years, so why isn’t it used more?  This presentation will cover the principals of internal curing as well as the many benefits.  It will also cover some information on specifying lightweight aggregate for internal curing in addition to some case studies from across the United States.

Registration opens at 7:00 am.  A full hot breakfast buffet will be served beginning at 7:15 am.  The presentation will begin at 8:00 am and will conclude by 9:00 am.
