September 2017 Breakfast Meeting - Repairs and Rehabilitation of Post-Tensioned Structures

144 people registered to attend this program that was held September 19, 2017.  Scott Greenhaus (Executive Vice President at Structural Group, Inc.) was the presenter.  Because of the technical and safety precautions required in repairing highly-stressed post tension tendons, knowledge of proper repair techniques is critical to maintaining the integrity and safety of the structure, and those around it. STRUCTURAL’s approach to repairing post-tensioning tendons in buildings, water containment structures, bridges, and dams recognizes these needs and includes a holistic view of the structure’s behavior—combined with understanding the root cause of the post-tensioning challenge.

Jeff Lazar (BKV Group) remarked that "with the number of PT structures in design and construction now, this seminar was extremely informative and timely."  As to the speaker's knowledge and ability?  Sonny Fite (Target Corporation) said that "If I ever need expertise on post-tension slab repair, I'll hire Mr. Greenhaus."
