The deadline for abstract submissions has been extended to May 29, 2020.

We invite you to submit an extended abstract (2 pages) to present your work at the PNNL MSR Chemistry Workshop on “Fundamental Properties to Advanced Molten Salt Reactor Technology” 15-17 September 2020.

The workshop will host professionals from industry, government and academia from around the globe who will gather to present and discuss cutting edge technical issues and solutions to develop and deploy molten salt reactor systems.

Extended abstracts will focus on molten salt chemistry, actinide and radionuclide chemistry under molten alt conditions, modeling, thermodynamics, corrosion, and safeguards.

This workshop will include tours, a poster session, invited lecturers, exhibitors and networking.

Session 1: Molten Salt Chemistry
Session 2: Modeling
Session 3: Thermodynamics
Session 4: Corrosion
Session 5: Safeguards

Authors should submit a 2 page Word text only extended abstract by May 29, 2020 to the MSR Chemistry abstract  website.

Updates regarding registration will be sent out at a later date.

If you are not a U.S. citizen, please send an email to, or see the MSR Chemistry  home page for the form. All foreign national attendees must complete a visitor request form by May 29, 2020 and receive visit approval prior to a final decision being made on your abstract submission.
