Video analytics monitors crowd size, density and flow in crowded areas

In MONICA, the modelling of crowd dynamics from video footage is based on state-of-the-art deep learning techniques within the fields of computer vision and AI. A recent demonstration of the MONICA crowd counting algorithm shows a high accuracy of 72%, which is expected to further increase with the labelling of more data.

CEMA conference @ EU Parliament

20 February 2019


On the 20th of February, the Agriculture and Rural Development Commissioner, Phil Hogan, addressed his keynote speech at the dinner debate “Smart Equipment for Sustainable Agriculture” co-organized by the European Agricultural Machinery Industry Association CEMA and the European Forum for Manufacturing EFM in the European Parliament. Commissioner Hogan mentioned IoF2020 project as one of the most successful ongoing multi-actor projects funded under H2020.

CREATE the Next Generation IoT eXperience for the Future
26-28 February 2019

Participants from different EU countries representing the IoT community, including the European Commission and the LSP projects, participated in these high level workshops dealing with sustainability, IoT and Pan-European Digital Transformation, IoT and Arts and SMEs engagement. The EUCAD Conference 2019 has been a successful event to showcase some of the European projects working towards the goal of engaging final users in the technological innovation and services of the CAD and IoT world. AUTOPILOT has participated with a live demo to present one of its use cases: relocation of driverless vehicles in the urban environment.
