Cvent Named Cool Vendor in CRM and Analytics by Gartner Research

MCLEAN, VA – April 28, 2008 - Cvent Inc., the leading provider of web-based event management, eMarketing and online survey solutions, has been named a "Cool Vendor in CRM and Analytics" by Gartner. Event marketing planners looking to move from manual event management tools such as spreadsheets and email to easy-to-use, automated software should consider Cvent, recommends Gartner in the "Cool Vendors in CRM Marketing and Analytics, 2008" report.

Cvent's robust set of event management features, including online registration, payment collection, advanced reporting, e-mail marketing and budget/expense tracking, earned Cvent one of four spots on the list. Cvent's Supplier Network, a searchable database of more than 50,000 venues and 75,000 event supplier profiles is also noted among Cvent's "cool" features. According to the report, cool vendors bring innovative solutions to marketing organizations. Vendors were selected for having unique capabilities that boost revenue opportunities and improve marketing tracking and brand control.
