The Manager, Client Services for the Supplier Network Division will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Client Services and Relationship Management. The Cvent Supplier Network is a site selection and event supplier sourcing tool geared toward helping meeting and event planners effectively select the ideal location for their meetings and events. This Manager position requires a dynamic and experienced person who can manage a team of professional high performance client relationships and a team of product consultants to ensure a high level of quality of service to our customers. Exposure to managing cross cultural teams will be an added advantage because Cvent has international operations of its Client Services department which includes 24x7 customer support. This position involves international travel to our service delivery center during the year.
Position Duties:
- Directly manage the Client Service’s Supplier Network team made up of 17 product consultants
located in multiple offices - Responsible for managing relationships with Venues and 3rd Party Event Planners such as ConferenceDirect and HelmsBriscoe
- Coach, mentor, provide feedback and improve the skill set and productivity of the team
- Recruiting and training future team members
- Devise and execute reports to ensure high level of performance
- Identify, innovate and execute business ideas to improve service delivery
- Initiate, manage, take ownership of strategic dialogues with other teams, divisions on different areas
of service management and delivery - Involvement in appraisal and career planning of employees
- Draw up reports for the analysis of senior management and make presentations
Candidate Requirements:
- 2 years of management experience required
- 5 years of experience in event planning/event management, software services, or travel/tourism/hospitality sectors
- Very strong client relationship management skills
- Prior direct managerial experience of skilled client services representatives
- Leadership skills and traits
- Ability to track key performance metrics and take business decisions
- Draw up business case for action, time plan for execution and present to the Senior Vice President for approval and execution
- Ability to identify, model and implement solutions for business situations and client needs
- Manage communication with internal and external clients
- Very proficient with software packages of Microsoft Office
- Aptitude for data analysis and perform trend analysis
- Very good presentation skills
- Experience with Delphi, Meeting Broker, Opera or Envision a plus
