We have multiple Product Consultant positions open in our Client Services department across all three product areas: Event Management, Web Surveys and Supplier Network, for college graduates. As our clients' primary point of contact when they are working in the Cvent system, you will spend approximately sixty percent of your day assisting clients on the phone or via email. There are many other daily activities and special projects that you will be required to perform in addition to providing the best customer care possible.
Client Services Team
Our team of close to 90 Product Consultants and Relationship Managers is a close-knit group of dynamic and high-energy professionals. Cvent hires bright people who are willing to learn and are extremely motivated to succeed. Most of our team has received their Bachelor degrees within the last few years. We have people from various educational backgrounds including, but not limited to business, psychology, communications and computer information systems.
This position has opportunity to travel to Cvent's international offices to provide training and mentoring to our global Client Services team.
Career Path:
The goal of most Product Consultants is to move into a Senior Product Consultant role and then into a Relationship Manager role or possibly into an Account Manager role. Generally it will take about 12 months to move into a Senior Product Consultant position, and then another 12 - 18 months to move into a Relationship Manager. Once you are in a Senior Product Consultant role, you will start mentoring other employees in our international operations. Once you become a Relationship Manager, you will help supervise other Product Consultants and help manage multi-million dollars worth of accounts.
Customers:
Cvent has over 4,500 customers. Nearly 70% of our revenue comes from corporate customers. Approximately 30% of our revenue comes from associations, non-profits and universities. Representative customers include KMPG, the World Bank, Rolls Royce, American Marketing Association, Walmart, Mobil, Yahoo, Harvard University, United Way, BMW, and Siemens.
Position Duties:
- Demonstrate detailed product knowledge when assisting clients both on the phone and via email
- Offer best practice tips to clients in an effort to boost their meeting attendance via Cvent's marketing engine
- Give personalized web-based training to corporations and associations
- Create custom reports using Access
- Create custom invitations using Photoshop
- Gather client requirements for future releases of the product
- Train and offer product knowledge to the sales team
- Create and maintain all product documentation
- Implement and manage the online portion of client events as needed
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelors degree with strong academic credentials
- High Comfort level in using online software products
- Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task
- Quick learner, with a positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
- Experience with Access, Excel, HTML and Photoshop a plus
