Record Sales and Product Upgrades in Second Quarter of 2005

of Positive Cash Flow
ARLINGTON, VA – August 15, 2005 - Cvent, Inc., the leader in web-based event registration, email marketing, and housing and travel solutions, announced another record quarter ending June 31, 2005, with sales increasing 28% over the second quarter of 2004 and cash-flow positive for the quarter. Cvent Inc. is a privately held company.
Cvent acquired 223 customer contracts for the quarter. New customers include DuPont, AC Nielsen, ScanSoft, National Geographic Society, Cars.com, Glasser Legal Works, Bacardi USA Inc.

Demand for our web based software continues to be strong across all types of organizations—corporations, associations and non-profits.”
Cvent released a new version of its professional and enterprise event marketing product at the end of the second quarter that provides customers with enhanced travel planning functionality, improved user interface features such as event calendars, additional e-commerce functionality for collecting event registration fees, and the ability for clients to more closely track the performance of email marketing campaigns. Cvent’s Vice-President of Product Development David Quattrone noted “We have listened closely to feedback from our clients and thousands of event planners in the industry and delivered a major upgrade that should greatly streamline the event planning challenges that organizers battle every day.”
