ARLINGTON, VA – December 19, 2005 - Cvent, Inc., a global provider of web-based event registration, email marketing, and housing and travel solutions, was recognized today by the Washington Business Journal as the largest event planning company in the Washington DC metro area.
Over 1.7 million people attended 33,000 events that were planned using the Cvent's online event registration software in the last year – 3,200 of these events were held in the Washington DC area. Cvent helped clients plan over 33,000 events in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the UK during the last year.
