Adelaide Zoo Lyrebird Conference Centre

The 2nd oldest zoo in Australia, Adelaide Zoo's 125 years of experience shines in a range of exhibits, botanical garden landscaping and the unique style of many original architectural features. Guests can visit with the zoo's 1,800 residents in areas such as the Southeast Asian Rainforest and Australian Rainforest Wetlands. Tasmanian Devils, Malayan Sun bears, and Sumatran tigers populate the grounds, and plans are underway for giant pandas to join them in 2009. The zoo's botanical gardens are home to many significant exotic and Australian species including a superb Moreton Bay fig planted in 1877 prior to the opening of the zoo.

Adelaide Zoo has a number of indoor and outdoor venues available for events of up to 250 people; on-site catering is also available. The zoo is open daily from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. Admission is AU$12 for children ages 4-14 and AU$20 for adults. For more information: +61 8 8267 3255
