Well-known for her diary-turned-bestseller, Anne Frank and her family went into hiding in 1942 following Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Today, this hiding place has become a must-see attraction for all tourists to the city. Guests can explore the historic rooms of the building, which are populated with a number of documents, letters and photos, including Frank's diary. The house also hosts various rotating exhibitions.
