With 300,000 square feet of exhibition space, 50 meeting rooms, and a 36,672 square-foot ballroom, the Baltimore Convention Center is more than prepared to accommodate your next event. Access to the Inner Harbor and adjacent hotels is available via the skywalk on the second level. 50 meeting rooms accommodating up to 1,600 people can be found on the third floor; terraces wrap around the building affording excellent views of the cityscape and harbor. The fourth floor offers a 36,672 square-foot ballroom with a 28-foot ceiling and built-in state-of-the-art sound system; the space can be divided into four sections to provide versatility. A spacious foyer for pre-function gatherings, complete kitchen and catering facilities are also located on the fourth floor. All catering services are provided by industry-applauded caterer ARAMARK. With a MARC station stop only one block away from the convention center, visitors have convenient access to a direct route to both BWI Airport and Washington, D.C.
An exciting addition to the Baltimore Convention Center is the Hilton Baltimore Convention Center Hotel. Scheduled to open in August 2008, the hotel will have 757 rooms, including 19 suites. In addition, the convention center hotel will have 60,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including a 25,000 square-foot Grand Ballroom and a 15,000 square-foot Junior Ballroom. 750 underground parking spaces and 5,000 square feet of dining space will also be offered. Directly connected to the convention center via skybridge, the hotel will have a fully equipped fitness center, a large indoor pool, and a Finn & Porters restaurant.
Other close-by hotels include the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel, the Tremonts Suite Hotels, as well as the Wyndham at the Baltimore Inner Harbor, whose 30 million-dollar renovation will be complete in fall of 2007.
