Teeth of the Dog Golf Course
The Teeth of the Dog course, located at the Casa de Campo resort along the southern coast of the island, is a wildly popular, award-winning course designed by Pete Dye nearly 30 years ago. Teeth of the Dog, ranked as the number 1 course in the Caribbean, features an unprecedented eight ocean holes, as well as Dye's signature touches of elevated greens and trick of the eye trees. The course's signature hole is a par-3 on a rock-toothed cove that resembles snapping jaws.
Casa de Campo is extremely amenable to private events. The resort boasts two newly-remodeled conference centers, a variety of reception areas for up to 220 people, and a business center for printing, fax, mail and office services. Schedules and rates vary. Golfers should request tee times as far in advance as possible. For more information: 809-523-3333
