Located near the resort region of Ocho Rios right next door to the popular Dolphin Cove, Dunn's River Falls is a breathtaking series of waterfalls that send crystal clear water cascading and splashing 600 feet over stone steps. A wondrous sight to behold, the falls are the only one of their kind in the Caribbean and a stunning example of Jamaica's natural beauty.
Guides are available to assist visitors in traipsing up the slippery steps while sharing local legends and information about the falls. Once at the top, visitors will step into a market selling Jamaican treasures such as wood carvings, original art and straw crafts. Those who would rather not navigate the steps of the falls can view the activities from the terrace or deck. Dunn's River Falls also features a cafeteria, parkland and beaches overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Dunn's River Falls are open daily from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. When cruise ships are in port, the falls are open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM.
