Covent Garden Market
Since opening its doors the first time in 1845, Covent Garden Market has remained one of the city's most unique and popular landmarks. What began as a farmers' market today continues the tradition of selling farm-fresh foods, meats, cheeses and flowers, but has also added full-time vendors offering fine jewelry, interesting artwork, clothing and other collectibles. The market is also home to numerous restaurants as well as entertainment venues. Located on King Street, Covent Garden Market is open Monday through Thursday and Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM, Friday from 8 AM to 7:30 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM.
