Founded over 160 years ago by John Kinder, the Labatt Brewery on Simcoe Street produces over one billion bottles of beer each year. Labatt now brews over 60 different brands of beer, including Labatt Blue, the best-selling Canadian beer in the world. Beer lovers can take a tour of the brewery to see how Labatt prepares its beers, from the processing of ingredients to the labeling and packaging of bottles. The tour, led by an expert guide, also offers visitors the chance to touch the ingredients used to brew each ice cold glass. Tours conclude with a sampling of some of Labatt's various brands.
