Miami Beach Convention Center
Defined by an unparalleled tropical setting one minute away from the spectacular sands of Miami Beach and situated adjacent to the historic Art Deco District, the Miami Beach Convention Center is one of the most uniquely designed convention facilities in the world. A compliment to the artistic architecture of Miami Beach, the Center has been brilliantly constructed in Miami’s signature Art Deco motif. Soft pastels and vibrant bursts of color coincide with unusual design elements and tropical landscaping to create a truly distinctive meeting space.
In 1990, the Miami Beach Convention Center underwent a $92 million renovation and expansion, essentially doubling its size to more than one million square feet of functional space. Over the past six years, the center has continued to evolve with over $35 million spent on upgrades, including renovation of all restrooms, carpet replacement and installation of a new telecommunications and networking infrastructure to keep the center on the cutting edge of the latest technology.
Miami Beach Convention Center has 500,000 square feet of continuous and divisible exhibit space on one level, accentuated by a 35-foot-high ceiling. Extremely flexible, its main floor can be configured to serve as one facility or can be divided into four 125,000-square-foot halls, each with its own private entrance. The exhibit area is surrounded by 144,800 square feet of space, which is separated into 68 separate meeting rooms. The convention center is also one of the first in the country to design a Skywalk and pod from which attendees can receive an open view of the exhibit floor. A perfect venue for VIP functions, the Skywalk boasts a raw-bar style kitchen and four open-air lounges.
Amenities abound at the Miami Beach Convention Center, which boasts its own in-house caterer that provides a wide range of services from coffee breaks to lavish banquets, a full-service business center and concierge. Exhibit space comes complete with floor ports for electric, drains and phones along with access to water and compressed air. Adjacent to the center is the recently renovated Jackie Gleason Theater that has seating for 2,704, perfect for special sessions or award presentations. There are two parking lots in a one block radius, one with 800 spaces and one with 2,000 spaces. Visitors will find traveling to the center is a breeze as it is conveniently located within a short 18-minute drive from Miami International Airport.

Port of Miami, and is in close proximity to some of the finest new hotels in Miami, including the 615-room Hyatt Regency Miami, which is incorporated into the center.
Miami Convention Center boasts 37 meeting rooms, a 444-seat auditorium, a 117-seat lecture hall and flexible configurations that can accommodate up to 5,000 people. The James L. Knight auditorium, which seats 5,000, features advanced audio-visual equipment to meet the technological demands of meetings and events. The auditorium also has a 16,000-square-foot staging area.
Miami Convention Center offers an extensive array of guest services and amenities such as fluorescent and incandescent lighting, electrical outlets, water services, telecommunications access and drop, acoustic-style ceilings. The center also boasts in-house catering, teleconferencing facilities, language translations, registration services and meeting planning services, and parking for 1,450 cars in a lot adjacent to the center.
