Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin
A wonderland of cutting edge exhibits and aquatic adventure awaits visitors on Milwaukee's waterfront. Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin is set in an architecturally stunning modernist building overlooking Lake Michigan. From jaw-dropping technology to brilliant salt and fresh water aquariums, Discovery World sparks the imagination with 120,000 square feet of interactive exhibits. Taking visitors on a journey into the next generation of science museums, Discovery World allows guests to experience a virtual reality chamber in the Hive Exhibit, climb a double helix staircase to explore the latest inventions in the Johnson Controls' TechnoJungle or make dreams a reality in the Rockwell Automation Dream Machine.
The museum also features stingray touch tanks, innovation labs, digital high-definition theaters showing films such as The Deep and Coral Seas, and Wisconsin's flagship Denis Sullivan, a life-size replica of the first schooner. Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin features four-star catering and both indoor and outdoor spaces for private functions as well as private sailing events on the Denis Sullivan. Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
