Lake Eola

Lake Eola Park
Home to numerous festivals and productions throughout the year, Lake Eola Park has been the heart and soul of the Orlando community since its establishment in 1892. Centrally located in downtown, weekdays the park is often dotted with office workers seeking a bit of fresh air on their lunch breaks and on weekends it is filled with the laughter of children and picnickers.

Visitors will enjoy walking along the park's wide paths adorned with vibrant flowers and plants, as well as observing birds and the beautiful views of the water afforded by its iron-and-wood docks. Well-kept playgrounds are ideal for children and swan paddleboats are available for rent to fun-lovers looking for a little healthy activity. The .9-mile loop around the lake provides a picturesque place for downtown visitors to go for a jog while enjoying the serenity of nature. Light refreshments can be purchased at the park's small café near the amphitheater on the north side of the lake. The nearby Thornton Park neighborhood also offers various dining options with a mixture of indoor and outdoor dining. Lake Eola Park anxiously awaits your exploration!
