Moulin Rouge
Re-introduced to the spotlight by the eponymous 2001 film by Baz Luhrmann, Moulin Rouge has been making history since its doors first opened in 1889. Easily recognized by its red windmill, this cabaret was famously immortalized by Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, who captured the venue's cheeky exuberance in dozens of paintings. In the past, Moulin Rouge has hosted artists such Aristide Bruand and Edith Piaf; it's also notable as the location where the Can-Can dance first originated.
Today, Moulin Rouge continues to dazzle and delight with its current show, which features over 100 performers, elaborate sets and 1,000 costumes of feather, sequins and rhinestones. Visitors to the cabaret may also enjoy dinner, which features a selection of four set menus and various a la carte offerings.
Moulin Rouge has three venues available for private functions: the 600-square-meter Cinema Hall, the 250-square-meter Mistinguett Lounge, and the lavish Cabaret Theatre, which allows groups to enjoy exclusive viewing of the day's show. Dinner revues start at €145 per person; show admission only starts at €89. For more information: +33 15 309 8282
