Luis Munoz Marin International Airport

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU)
Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport is located just three miles southeast of Old San Juan and 15 miles away from the Puerto Rico Convention Center. The airport services 10 million travelers each year, offering direct connections throughout the domestic United States, Latin America, the Caribbean and Madrid. Marín International serves as the Caribbean hub for American Airlines and American Eagle.

The semicircle-shaped airport consists of two terminals: the Main Terminal and the American Airlines Terminal. All airlines except American Airlines and American Eagle service the Main Terminal's 20 gates. The 22-gate American Airline Terminal consists of concourses D and E and the airport's retail kiosks, restaurants, salons and duty free shops. Wireless Internet service is available at the designated lounges in both terminals. The airport offers a 2,000-space parking garage and direct access to the 125-room Best Western San Juan Airport Hotel and Casino; the casino is open daily from 6 AM to midnight.

The Marín International Airport has been undergoing $400 million in renovations since 2006, with a scheduled 2011 completion. The revitalization project includes the opening of a new Concourse A, as well as new gates, guest services and check-in counters throughout the airport.
