Asian Civilisations Museum and Peranakan Museum
Opened in 1997, the Asian Civilisations Museum began at Armenian Street with two-thirds of its gallery space devoted to Chinese civilizations. After its focus turned to the Peranakan culture, the museum closed and was re-opened as the Peranakan Museum, which still operates under the Asian Civilizations Museum. In 2003, the ACM unveiled its collection in the restored Empress Place Building.
Combination admission rates for each museum are available. Group tours of each museum can be reserved in advance.
