Discoveryland!, a family theater venue 10 miles west of downtown Tulsa, offers up an evening of Western country charm. Cited by InStyle magazine as one of the Top 51 National Treasures in America, Discoveryland! presents musical classics such as Oklahoma! and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. A number of pre-show activites are also available, including a Western musical revue, an Indian Trading Post with authentic Native American art and crafts, and Native American dancers. For some sumptuous ranch dining, guests can sit down at outdoor picnic areas for the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association Ranch Dinner of ribeye steak sandwiches, potato salad, corn on the cob and baked beans.
Discoveryland! is available for private parties, and, as an outdoor, casual venue, can host any number of guests. Parties may include a country-style dinner and a range of amusements such as mechanical bull riding and line dancing instruction. Discoveryland! opens at 6 PM on performance nights; performances begin at 8 PM. Dinner service, Native American dancers and the musical revue start at 6 PM, 7 PM, and 7:30 PM, respectively.
