The green and rolling countryside of the Ozark foothills make Tulsa a beautiful place to hit the links. With a reputation for first-class, well-maintained courses and 227 sunny days a year, Tulsa is an excellent golfing destination. The city has 19 public golf courses, including La Fortune, Page Belcher and Battle Creek, in addition to a range of award-winning private ones. Southern Hills Country Club's championship golf course has played host to 14 major championships, including four PGA tours.
