The six ships of the DDSG Blue Danube give guests the opportunity to experience the city of Vienna by water. Trips range from sightseeing cruises to special day trips to monthly themed excursions. The Grand Danube River Cruise passes famous Vienna sites such as Danube Tower, Millennium Tower and Urania Observatory.
Day trips are offered to the village of Durnstein, the Danube Pastures, and the Festival Palace Hof. Themed cruises include jazz nights, country barbecues, and kid-friendly evenings. Most ships also offer a number of drinks and food items, from snacks and salads to full entrees.
With capacities ranging from 90 to 600 people, the ships of the Blue Danube are available for private functions complete with custom catering. Cruise schedules and prices vary based on type.
