Located just east of St. Stephen's Cathedral is the residence of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Vienna's most famous resident. Domgasse 5 is the only remaining of Mozart's apartments as well as the largest and most expensive one in which he ever lived. Today, it is home to several exhibition areas, a café and a museum shop.
In addition to exploring Mozart's living area at the museum, guests can learn about his time in Vienna and about his works, particularly his three great operas. The museum is also host to a number of special exhibitions and, not surprisingly, various concerts throughout the year.
Mozarthaus Vienna is open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM. Regular admission, which includes a multilingual audio guide, is €9. Group rates are available. For more information: +43 1 512 17 91
