Vienna is divided into 23 districts with the First District, or Innere Stadt, at the heart. This area was originally bounded by the old city walls. These were later demolished, which led to the construction of the Ringstrasse – a parade of some of Vienna's most beautiful buildings.
This boulevard is now the city's most notable address, filled with a variety of luxurious hotels, museums and popular attractions. Guests can either take a stroll on the wide, tree-lined street at their leisure, or hop abroad a tram to get quicker look at attractions such as the State Opera House, Museum of Fine Arts, Natural History Museum, Parliament and City Hall.
