Bike and Roll offers four themed bike tours around the city: the Capital Sites Tour, Monuments Tour, Sites @ Night tour and Capital Sites @ Nite Tour. The seven- to eight-mile Capital Sites Tour, the company's most comprehensive, provides bikers with an overview of the city while passing by major sites such as the Capitol Building, World War II Memorial and Supreme Court. The three-mile Monuments Tour rides by landmarks including the Washington Monument, Vietnam Memorial and Lincoln Memorial, and also offers guests a chance to get out and walk around these sites. Both @ Nite tours take place in the evening hours, stopping by famous locations during the cooler and less crowded times of day. All tours are rated at an easy level of difficulty.
Private group tours are available with flexible start times, lengths and locations visited. Hours and schedules vary based on tour type, with the Capital Sites and Monuments tours running March 1 to December 14 and the @ Nite tours running March 29 to November 2. Capital Sites and Monument Tours cost $20 for children ages 12 and under and $40 for adults, and @ Nite tours cost $35 for children and $45 for adults.
