Located in Dupont Circle, Café Citron is a self-described mixture of carnival-like energy and cosmopolitan style. Guests can stop by for the house special, a Cuban mojito, or try one of numerous cocktails including the Watermelon Martini, Caipirinha and Citron Infusion, vodka soaked in fresh lemon and sugar. Music keeps guests out on the dance floor, including a live Flamenco performance Monday, live Latin jazz Tuesday and salsa Wednesday. For patrons who work up an appetite on the dance floor, a selection of small plates are available, including traditional Latin dishes such as fried plantains, empanadas and Bolivian potato cake.
