Venue Description
The Shelby County Museum & Archives is located in the 1854 Old Courthouse in Columbiana, Shelby County, Alabama. This building is on the National Register of Historic Places. The seating is up-to-100 people (either sit down meals or meeting style) and we offcer podeum with sound system, piano, CD,VCR,DVD, overhead projector with large electric screen from 14 foot ceiling, and easels for displays if needed. The main attraction just a few blocks from the Shelby County Musuem & Archives is the Karl C. Harrison Museum of George Washington. There are the small hometown shops on Main Street, just in front of our building, that many people enjoy walking and shopping. About 15 minutes away is The American Village.
