Venue Description
The Sloan Convention Center is named for Patsy T. Sloan, mayor of the City of Bowling Green from 1988 to 1991. Sloan was instrumental in planning the Hartland Development, including the convention center, golf course, and hotel.
Featuring 35,000 square feet of meeting and pre-convention exhibit space, the Sloan Convention Center features a grand ballroom and five smaller break-out rooms, all on ground level. The 19,500 square foot grand ballroom has a seating capacity of 1,700 and can be divided into four equal sections. The five breakout rooms range in size from 350 to 2,600 square feet.
The connecting Holiday Inn University Plaza Hotel offers additional meeting & banquet space, having three salons with a seating capacity of 75 to 150, and a Boardroom that seats 10.
