Venue Description
The renovations to the 39-year-old building designed by renowned Texas architect O’Neil Ford include interior and exterior improvements, three new meeting rooms, expanded catering kitchen, improved acoustics and lighting, new elevator, improved accessible entrance and outdoor covered plaza. The plaza overlooks a completely redesigned garden area that improves access into Quakertown Park.
To remain true to the architect’s style, materials used in the original design were also used during the renovation, including the use of oak, decorative ceramic tiles and raised handrails that mimic the originals.
Three new meeting rooms were added with the renovation. A new community room at the front of the building can accommodate up to 75 people. Two smaller meeting rooms can hold from 20-70 people. For larger events, the renovated rotunda is available, which now opens out to a new 4,000-square-foot outdoor, covered plaza.
