Originally Built as a Shrine temple in 1920, the Helena Civic Center is now owned by the City of Helena. The Helena Civic Center offers the community a unique place to enjoy concerts, conferences, conventions, banquets, balls, expositions, art shows and other special events.
The Helena Civic Center houses two major facilities; the auditorium and the ballroom. The auditorium and ballroom may be booked separately or together for an event. Other rooms in the facility include a second floor mezzanine over looking the ballroom, dressing rooms and a catering kitchen with a walk-in cooler.
The Civic Center ballroom is a major conference, exposition, and banquet facility in Helena. Conferences seat up to 800 people at banquet tables, 1500 people standing. The ballroom and mezzanine accommodates over 100 standard size exposition tables. The glass-railed mezzanine, overlooking the ballroom, offers an elegant gallery, exposition and reception area. Beautiful crystal chandeliers light this room and add to the elegance.
