The hotel was originally established by a group of citizens who wanted to build a hotel to host conferences. The Edinburg Community Hotel Organization named their state-of-the-art hotel & conference center using the acronym for their organization. The Echo Hotel & Conference Center is a full service hotel including a restaurant, bar area and banquet facilities, with onsite barbershop and travel agency. At the Echo Hotel, we enjoy customizing parties and group functions of all sizes, and offer an array of services that will suit the specific needs of any event. The Echo is the ideal location, (being a central location in the Rio Grande Valley) for rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions, birthday celebrations, anniversary dinners, corporate events, employee parties, awards dinners…any occasion. The Echo Hotel is pleased to host both small groups and large events of up to 800 people.
