Maranatha Camp and Conference Center is a year-round Camp and Conference Center, operated as a ministry of the North Alabama Presbytery. Maranatha’s 150 acres are nestled between the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and beautiful Lake Guntersville in historic Jackson County, Alabama. Maranatha welcomes a variety of groups including churches, non-profit organizations, family reunions, educational as well as business, and civic groups. Maranatha Camp and Conference Center welcomes persons of every race, gender, creed, religion, and national origin. The 10,000 square foot Lakeside Conference Center, completed in 2003, is a full service conference and retreat facility. An array of business technology services and recreational activities are available. Lakeside is a fully handicapped accessible facility. Lakeside includes sixteen spacious, hotel-style guestrooms. Conference Rooms Lakeside has conference room space to seat up to 200 people auditorium style. A divider wall is used to transform this space into smaller conference rooms. The Maranatha Camp and Conference Center campus includes 4 camper cabins and the Winter and Summer Lodges. There are nine hogans (screened mini cabins) scattered throughout the campus.
