Feel the serenity of gliding across the water powered only by the wind. Or motor across the lake, dock your boat next to the Resort Lodge and enjoy a sumptuous meal in luxury surroundings. Joe Wheeler Lodge is located just off the main Tennessee River within the quiet beauty of First Creek. The land surrounding the creek is all part of the park and offers a nature backdrop. All 75 rooms are lakeside and each has a balcony facing the lake. Our regular sleeping rooms are very spacious and have two queen-size beds. We also offer executive suites and suites. Our convention facilities will seat up to 500 persons in a theatre setup. We can also break this area into 3 separate meeting rooms. The River Room offers a view of the lake along with a huge stone fireplace and will seat up to 100.
