The Abe Martin Lodge is located just minutes from Nashville, Indiana. Known as the Artist Colony of the Midwest, Nashville is a mecca for those who love arts, crafts and antiques. The Abe Martin Lodge is nestled in the picturesque hills of Indiana’s largest state park, 16,000 acre Brown County State Park. The Main Lodge, built in 1932 of hand-hewn native stone and oak timber cut in the park, has 30 guest rooms, a unique gift shop, and two spacious and comfortable lobbies, one with a fireplace. Native sandstone and warm woods surround you in the restaurant, reminiscent of the 1930’s. The lodge has beautiful outdoor verandas overlooking the sloping back lawn, park and the hills. There are also ample meeting rooms for business meetings, reunions, weddings, or any function you may wish. The Abe Martin Lodge is perfect for your next conference, meeting, wedding or retreat. We have meeting rooms, conference facilities and private dining areas available for your next reception, banquet, conference and reunion. Our seating capacity for meetings ranges from ten to 400. Our banquet department caters private meals, snacks and breaks to your meeting room. They can also cater a barbeque or meal function at one of the park shelter houses for groups of 50 or more. For smaller picnic groups, we can prepare box lunches.
