Built on the old “Dixie Highway,” and named after early Kentucky explorer Daniel Boone, this historic hotel and restaurant is prominently located on the College Square in Berea, Kentucky. You’ll find our guest rooms are elegant and charming. All 58 guest rooms feature hand-crafted cherry, oak, and pine furniture made by Berea College Student Crafts over the past 100 years. Plan your next meeting in the foothills of Appalachia. Situated where the rolling bluegrass horse farms of central Kentucky meet the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian mountains of eastern Kentucky, Boone Tavern is a perfect setting for your next meeting and retreat. As your guests arrive, they’ll be impressed by the elegant exterior design featuring massive white columns on its front and side porticos. They may want to linger on the pleasant veranda before coming inside. In addition to a spacious and comfortable lobby, Boone Tavern offers several rooms available for private meetings. Whether you choose a pre-wedding rehearsal dinner, formal sit down dinner, or a reception of light hors d’oeuvres, we can accommodate up to 200 guest and offer full service arrangements. Our menus are flexible and any type of atmosphere can be created.
