Venue Description
The Hyatt at Olive 8—The first LEED certified hotel in Seattle and the greenest hotel in the city. Opened in early 2009, it is the newest hotel to grace the city’s skyline.
Meetings
Make your meeting sustainable at the hotel that features Seattle's largest green roof and numerous other energy saving features. Over 10,000 square feet of versatile, stylish and technologically advanced meeting space is located on one floor. All breakout space features soaring floor to ceiling windows.
Rooms
A fresh Northwest inspired color palette invites you to the city's newest hotel rooms. Energy saving features include WattStopper technology that requires your key card to be inserted for the lights to come on. Bricor shower heads minimize water consumption as to the dual-flush toilets. Technology connection panels allow you to connect your laptop or iPod to our 37" HD LCD televisions. Some windows feature views of Puget Sound or Lake Union. Pop up vents allow you to enjoy fresh air without significant energy loss.
SPA
Respect the body, respect the earth. That's the idea behind Elaia, Seattle's newest full service spa located on the 2nd floor. Elaia boasts twelve spacious treatment suites, manicure/pedicure salon, steam room, dry sauna, 65 foor saline lap pool, Jacuzzi and relaxation room. Pamper yourself without leaving the building.
Restaurant
Good food shouldn't have to travel far. So we didn't look far to find the inspiration for Urbane, the restaurant at Olive 8. You won't find California wines on the menu, but you will find that the majority of seasonal ingredients were sourced within a 200 mile radius of the hotel to create our 'Farm to Table' Menu. Open Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Coffee
It's what Seattle is known for. And our lobby coffee shop starts you out with anything your hear desires, whether that be a latte or an old-fashioned drip. Enjoy yoghurt to go or one of our local cheeses. In the evening, come back to see that the space is now a wine bar, showcases the best of Pacific Northwest wines and cheeses.
Location
The hotel is located a block and a half from the Convention Center. A short two-block walk will take you to the monorail station with direct service to Experience Music Project and the Space Needle. In the heart of the city's shopping and entertainment areas, we're just 6 blocks from Pike Place Market. And coming in late 2009 - light rail service from SEATAC airport!
Make your next meeting sustainable.
