Venue Description
Omaha Children's Museum began its operations in 1976 out of the back of a station wagon, delivering workshops and programs to thousands of area children. In 1977, the articles of incorporation were filed and, shortly thereafter, the museum found its first home in the City/County connector building. Later, the museum moved to the corner of 18th and St. Mary's. The museum moved to its permanent home, the former McFayden Ford building, in 1989 and has been located on 20th and Howard Streets in downtown Omaha ever since.
