The idea that became The Stoney Creek Inns came from a desire to ensure that guests were refreshed and happy when they said goodbye - and with the hope their experience would prompt many return visits. So we created an atmosphere that was as unique as it was exciting to behold - a warm and welcoming place that puts a smile on the faces of departing guests, who can be counted on to return, for more of that "into the woods" feeling. Located just off Interstate 74 at the beautiful EastPort Marina, our 164 room Stoney Creek Inn is a special place that offers a relaxing and enjoyable Northwoods experience for vacation and business travelers. The City of Peoria, Illinois’ oldest community, located halfway between Chicago and St. Louis, is the home of Caterpillar’s World Headquarters, plus a growing information technology industry. Our rooms include 15 suites, each with stone fireplace and unique theme. The Northwoods Conference Center offers approximately 5,336 sq. ft. For those in need of a prolonged stay, we have 12 extended stay cottages with a full kitchen in each of the suites. All are decorated in the unique Stoney Creek décor.
