Hilton Selects Cvent Supplier Network as New Lead Channel for Group Business
MCLEAN, VA – JUNE 23, 2009 – Cvent, the emerging leader in group business lead channels for hotels and the premier provider of event management, site selection and sourcing solutions for meeting and event planners has announced a strategic partnership with Hilton Hotels Corporation. Hilton has guaranteed enhanced search placement on the Cvent Supplier Network to advertise Hilton properties to thousands of qualified meeting planners who use the Cvent Supplier Network to send group business electronic RFPs. Hilton is positioned to capture immediate group business leads since 89% of the Cvent Supplier Network electronic RFPs are for meetings and events occurring within the next 12 months. "So far in 2009, electronic RFPs on the Cvent Supplier Network averaged 237 total sleeping rooms, with 83 on peak room nights.
