Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to: 1. Screen for and evaluate the underlying components related to handwriting success. 2. Identify what aspects of handwriting are affected by the specific skill areas. 3. Implement a variety of therapeutic activities to address the child's deficit areas. 4. Teach a child to write with proper letter formation, spacing, size, alignment and fluidity. 5. Address concerns regarding a child having difficulty thinking of what to write. 6. Make classroom recommendations for children with handwriting difficulties.
