Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1) List at least 2 ocular motor testing techniques in the assessment of vestibular system as it relates to vision and balance in the active patient.
2). Demonstrate at least 3 neuromuscular training concepts for the physically active person.
3). Identify at least 5 anatomical structures of the ocular motor and/or somatosensory systems in a normal individual.
4). Identify at least 3 posterior lateral hip muscles that are important to test and train in the person with a balance dysfunction.
5). Contrast at least 2 different ocular motor functions during the golf, tennis, and/or baseball swing.
