Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss the current evidence for performing movement based and static symmetry special tests when ruling out sacro-iliac and ilio-sacral dysfunction2. Identify the current recommended special tests for sacroiliac dysfunction and be able to use these tests for patients with sacroiliac dysfunction3. Describe the Pelvic Girdle Musculoskeletal Method (PGM MethodSM) for diagnosing and treating patients with sacroiliac and pelvic girdle pain and the literature to support this method.4. Identify special tests in the PGM MethodSM and key corrective exercises and be able to use these tests for patients with sacroiliac and pelvic girdle pain.
