Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss the physiology, kinesiology, and current evidence related to proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation strengthening and stretching techniques
2. Outline PNF manual resistance guidelines for the therapist/patient relationship
3. Identify specific PNF strengthening techniques and methodologies for the upper/lower extremity and spine to optimize treatment protocols.
4. Apply several different PNF strengthening/stretching techniques to the knee and shoulder for neuromuscular control and proprioceptive coordination
