Neuroanatomy and neuroscience are at the core of virtually every condition encountered by physical and occupational therapists. Even musculoskeletal conditions and pain have been recently shown to have neurological underpinnings and impacts! In this seminar basic neuroanatomy and neuroscience will be reviewed, including planes, sutures, commonly used imaging techniques used by other clinicians with whom we commonly team, cellular and systems anatomy, key structures, systems, tracts, lesion neuroanatomy, neurosciencem and neuroplasticity. Participants will also benefit from lesion case studies that are inserted throughout the session as well as clinical examples. Presented in a humorous, compelling and relatable way, you will learn from Dr. Page who himself has taught neuroanatomy and neuroscience at the graduate and undergraduate levels as well as during seminars across the world.
