In this two hour webinar the presentation will discuss how the sensory systems are effected by our developmental experiences and ways to improve behavior and function.
Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Identify at least 2 developmental experiences that will cause the sensory system to dysregulate.
2. Define how the sensory system develops and list 3 ways in which the development can become abnormal and lead to problematic behaviors and coping strategies.
3. Name at least 3 intervention strategies to improve daily functioning.
4. Name 2 movement patterns which improve sensory functioning.
