Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Name three reasons it is importance to provide care with a family centered, developmental care philosophy
2. Name and define basic terminology and vital information needed before entering the NICU
3. Demonstrate proper positioning for fragile infants
4. List the three types of infant cues during handling
AUDIENCE: : PT’s, OT’s and Speech Therapists that are at a beginner level with treating patients in the NICU. Also appropriate for Nursing.
